I am a First-Generation student with a strong passion for personal and professional growth. Originally from Havana, Cuba, I immigrated to the United States at the age of three. Throughout my academic journey, I have actively pursued various student leadership positions and participated in competitive teams, demonstrating my commitment to personal development and teamwork. At UF, I have been actively engaged in the First Generation Leadership Program, holding multiple positions and working as a finance intern at Rapid Business Plans, helping start-up companies secure SBA and USBA loans. I am eager to take on more leadership roles in these organizations and beyond. Looking ahead, I see that my career aspirations lie in the finance industry. While I have not defined a specific path, I am dedicated to gaining valuable experience and the necessary skills to excel in this field.
